Here at Mudlarks we've been bringing fun to pottery classes since 1997. The human connection to clay is fundamental and we tap into that to help you tap into your creativity.Class sizes are limited, with a maximum of 6 students in each.
Small classes mean you get to know each other quickly which adds to the enjoyment. Smaller classes also mean more help from the teacher when you ask for it.
In the first lesson there is a set task for a new student and in almost every case, students make something they are happy with in the first lesson. After that the only limits are your imagination.
Hi I'm Louise
The potter behind Mudlarks Studio in Ashgrove. I make modern, functional ceramics in small batches using whatever technique suits the piece, wheelthrown or handbuilt. My focus is on making aesthetically pleasing pots that function well and are a joy to use.
I like to experiment with shape, technique and texture to reach my design goals.I am always working to reduce my impact on the planet, firing my pots to Cone 6 rather than Cone 10 and offsetting my energy use with solar panels.
Where possible, I use recycled packaging and where not possible I use environmentally sustainable packaging. I use a carbon neutral courier for deliveries.
